Case Study

Nicole and Leo delivered a capital campaign feasibility to assess Highgate Cemetery’s potential for raising funds for a new Conservation Masterplan. They conducted an external audit into the climate for funding of cemeteries, researched prospects, and advised on structuring, packaging and implementing a revenue and capital fundraising programme.  As a result of the consultancy, the Cemetery recruited its first Head of Fundraising, successfully launched a new Membership and Patrons’ scheme, and secured NLHF and Trust grants for capital works.  Nicole continues to support the Cemetery with ongoing fundraising needs.

“Nicole and Leo’s knowledge of the heritage sector, and experience and insight into the practicalities of implementing a new fundraising strategy, not only helped us understand our funding opportunities, priorities, and impact, but also helped us realise the importance of our wider role in the community.  They gave us the tools we needed to kickstart the fundraising for our Conservation Project and supported us through the, successful, process of navigating the first phase of a NLHF application.”
