I established my consultancy business in 2016 after more than 20 years in senior fundraising roles in major arts organisations including V&A, Tate, English National Ballet, English National Opera, Somerset House Trust and the British Film Institute. I have experience in all areas of revenue and capital fundraising with a specialism in corporate fundraising and individual giving.
As Development Director at ENB, ENO and Somerset House Trust, I introduced new strategies, tripling revenue income at each organisation. I managed the building project for ENB’s new home in east London while leading their £40m capital campaign, securing seven-figure lead gifts. At the V&A, and prior to that at Tate, I introduced a number of innovative commercial partnerships with technology, luxury and consumer brands, securing six and seven-figure sponsorships that contributed to the V&A’s FuturePlan transformation and to the campaign around the opening of Tate Modern in 2000.
I regularly teach and lecture internationally and established the global CultureBusiness conference with Agenda Communications in Paris, now taking place biennially in Australia.
I am based in London and am a Trustee of immersive theatre company, Punchdrunk, contemporary dance company, Akram Khan Company, and the education charity, Climate Change All Change.
